| Day 0 - 4/7/04

Our camping group at Stalag Birdsville
TJL trying to suggest that he was reserved. Terry, you should know by now that Cath will let you know when and if you are.

Peter smiles contentedly whilst Simon scoff his food (a growing boy). Katie has red eyes and drinks red wine. Norm on the other hand drinks red wine and then gets red eyes. Helmut and Pat, his "first time camping" wife, are not yet sure about what to expect.

Cath considers Terry. Cath's a saint.

Anne and Edmund were a jovial couple who were keen to have a go at everything. That included a mountain of stuff packed into their 120 Series.

Kids, kids and more kids. They were a delight to have along.
A sea of red and black LCOOL shirts at the Birdsville pub attracted a great deal of attention. Most if not all were pulled up at one point or another during the night by people enquiring what we were all about.

Peter Dudley in a mellow mood. This night vision shot was taken so as not to scare him with a flash.

Leanne and Ivan were keen as ever with everything they did - right down to decking out the whole family with LCOOL shirts. Adam, Mathew and Ben looked a real treat!

Darren's leaning over to see what Mitch has in his hands while Craig looks away in disgust.

Dave Sheridan from CMI Toyota and son William. Dave was another one of those blokes who manages to pack mountains of gear into a 120 Series Prado. Onya Dave!
