Mike was an interesting character who Kym and Cindy brought along - a lovely fella who spent many years on navy ships - adult themes and language rolled off his tongue frequently to which Cindy would chastise "Ducks on the pond, Mike".

Before long, the adults and even the kids would say "Ducks on the Pond" whenever Mike (or anyone else) over stepped the mark.
