Craig and Joanna - Garlic Meatballs & Spaghetti with White Wine and Mushroom Sauce
Firstly, boil spaghetti to the quantity needed, drain and set aside.
Meatballs
- Equal portions of beef and sausage mince
- Thyme2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Breadcrumbs (either fresh or dry)
- Oregano (to taste)
- 1 onion, chopped
- Cumin powder (to taste)
Mix together all of above ingredients and shape into balls. Fry them and set aside.
Sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Red capsicum, diced
- Mushrooms, sliced
- White wine (one half to 1 cup)
- Cream (quantity to preferred texture)
- Pepper
- Bacon, diced
- Chicken stock powder (quantity to desired taste)
Fry onion, garlic, capsicum and bacon until cooked.
Add white wine until wine is reduced by half.
Add mushrooms until soft.
Add pepper, cream and chicken stock powder, stir.
Finally, add meatballs and stir through spaghetti.
