Steve & Sandy live in Canberra, with two boys and one girl. Brad 16, Matt 8 and Stephanie 2.

Our obsession with 4wding started two years ago when we decided to re-mortgage the house and extend it. We decided that rather than add a room we would extend our house to the whole of Australia and buy a 4wd and campertrailer.

So our hunt began, Sandy wanted a RAV4 and I wanted a 100 series, so we met in the middle and bought our 98 GXL Prado. We haven’t looked back since, we spend more of our time on day trips around Canberra, and with a child finishing high school and starting college it’s hard to spend long stretches of time anywhere without affecting school so we have only visited one of the places on our list of dream trips so far.
